Volunteering with Grassroots Germantown is one of the most worthwhile ways to turn your values into meaningful action.  Your skills, time, and energy help build collective power to shape a more just, fair, and inclusive society.  Our members are more than supporters - they're active partners in shaping our direction, priorities, and strategies.  Find your best fit with us below.  

Civic Engagement

  • Voter outreach: Phone and text banking, canvassing, helping with voter registration 

  • Poll monitors: Drivers, helping with ballot education

  • Petition drives:  Collecting signatures to support progressive initiatives

Community Outreach 

  • Community organizing:  Building neighborhood teams

  • Event coordination:  Planning rallies, town halls, and community events

  • Mutual aid:  Organizing and distributing food, supplies, or other social services

  • Coalition building:  Partnering with other local progressive groups

Education and Advocacy

  • Public speaking:  Representing Grassroots at local meetings

  • Writing and storytelling:  Generating written content to advance progressive causes and issues

  • Workshops:  Leading training on advocacy, anti-racism, anti-LGBTQ+, etc.

Digital Engagement
